Welcome to Psychotherapist today.com

Psychiatric and eclectic psychotherapist serves a diverse population with an interactive goal-oriented psychodynamic approach.

I work with a mind/body connection to help release unwanted behavior patterns and beliefs that serve as blocks to empowerment, self-acceptance and satisfying fulfilling relationships. Individual and couples counseling, etc is offered in the areas of self-esteem, conflict resolution, life transitions, parenting issues, etc.

The focus is on self-discovery and self-actualization in a supportive, interactive and safe environment.

Psychotherapy:
A psychotherapist interacts with clients to initiate change in the client’s thoughts, feelings and behaviors through adaptation via facilitation.
Psychotherapists provide treatment to individuals, couples and groups in a therapeutic confidential setting.

Individual psychotherapy:
Offers help for depression, anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, stress management, personal and spiritual growth, etc.

Couple/Relationship/Marriage Counseling:
Counsel in marital and relationship difficulties, communication and/or anger problems, infidelity, divorce, etc. Defining goals leads toward relationship enrichment, conflict resolution and intimacy skills training.

Psychotherapy for children:
I work to create insight and understanding by the family members into the child’s behaviour and difficult feelings, and suggest ideas to promote change to help the child get back on track with their life.

Between unresolved family conflicts, relationship struggles and his mixed-race identity, James Puckett had enough on his mind in college that he sought professional help. But after bouncing from one therapist to another, he still felt stuck.

The passage of the mental health parity law went into effect last January 2010.  It means for you that your mental health benefits should be expanded which should not restrict you to any amount of visits per year.  The particulars depend on your insurance company so please do not hesitiate to consult with your insurance company or benefits manager.

Additionally, I have always made it a policy (especially during these tough economic times) to work within your budget.as much as possible so therefore please do not hesitate to contact me at 212-481-2896.  In N.J. 973-783-8673.
